Portrait of Adeline Lafouine

Adeline Lafouine is a Swiss adult performer, filmmaker and author. Her career connects independent production with autobiographical writing, including a French memoir and its German edition.

Adeline Lafouine

The person behind the name

Adeline Lafouine was born in Sumiswald, Switzerland. Before becoming publicly associated with adult entertainment, she trained as an executive assistant and worked at the Swiss Parliament in Bern. She later made her own experiences the subject of autobiographical writing.

Her public work spans performance, filmmaking, books and interviews. In her author presentation, she describes a life that crosses the Swiss–French border; in her personal introduction, horses, animals, walks and reading sit alongside her creative work.

Before the public spotlight

Lafouine’s professional background began in administration. Her training as an executive assistant led to work in Bern, where she served as a secretary to parliamentary committees. It was a staff position within the Swiss Parliament.

That working life became part of a much larger public story in 2014. Media coverage of a personal social-media post brought intense attention and the loss of her parliamentary job. Her memoir later returned to the episode from her own perspective.

An independent screen career

Lafouine’s publishing biography describes her move into making adult films as one part of a broader change in how she chose to live and work. Her public identity includes the practical role of filmmaker as well as performer.

In interviews she has discussed the difference between independent production and a professional studio set. Camera positioning, lighting, repeated takes and a planned scenario all shape a filmed performance. Her account treats screen work as a constructed production with decisions happening behind the image.

A life between languages

German is Lafouine’s first language. Her own biography also lists fluent spoken and written French and English. Those languages connect different parts of her personal and professional life.

The books add a visible record of that multilingual background. Fais-le bien et laisse dire appeared in French through Tabou in 2020; a German edition followed in 2021 under the title Geh deinen Weg und lass die Leute reden.

A background with horses

Long before the books and interviews, horses were an important interest. Lafouine says she became a rider and riding instructor and also practised equestrian vaulting.

Her personal introduction names animals and long walks among the things she enjoys. Mountains and the sea in stormy weather also appear in that list, giving a glimpse of the outdoor interests alongside her public career.

Speaking in her own words

Returning to public discussion meant more than revisiting a familiar headline. The 2020 memoir gave Lafouine room to set out her own sequence of events. In a newspaper interview, she described the act of writing everything down as personally helpful.

Her guest appearance on Kuss & Krise extends that first-person public record. Episode 28 centres on the Swiss publicity surrounding her former job, her career in adult entertainment and her account of what the work is like.

The next chapter on paper

Laisse dire, la suite commence picks up the story after her first memoir. The publisher presents it as an account of the years that followed, including filming, relationships, disappointment and change.

The book continues a recurring part of Lafouine’s public work: speaking about her experiences in a longer form than a headline or a short post allows. Its author profile identifies her as a Swiss writer living in France.
